1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have a Korea assistant and her brother is in Korea now. I can't promise anything but if "One" person gives me the factory information I will have my assistant follow up she speaks and writes fluently.
It might also help that we are in the business.

On a side note. I will start making leather jackets in Italy. It will be of the highest quality that I can find. If the factory is up for MTM I will do it. There might be a 30% deposit. It depends on the terms I work out with the factory. Sometimes it's not needed. It will all be based off volume.

For the last year or so we have been the many fish swimming in different directions. Jackets slip out slowly, old posters disappear, new ones demand to know wtf. Over the last 24hours things clearly changed, the restaurant, our resolve - the fish suddenly turn in the same direction. It clearly ends soon. I'm quite sure Drew Keith has fucked us all; but, like everyone else, i have no idea of the pertinent details. Has he run out of money, is he actually bankrupt? Maybe. Maybe other shit happens that we have no idea about, he let the whole thing get out from him and fixing it is a mess, doesn't have the production capacity, the will, whatever. Either way, he isn't just going to get away with stealing what i imagine will be in excess of $200,000 dollars. So now he'd better now find a way to fix it. Really it is up to him to find a meaning for that word. The internet is a funny place, these relationships we have with our screens - understanding what is happening on the other side - eh, it is not the first time i've been had and it won't be the last (Lookup MtGox, if you think this is bad, things can be far worse).

In the meantime we should apply all the pressure possible with paypal, VISA and lawyers. I said goodbye to the jacket and the money some time ago and it has been quite a ride. Now can someone else point me to the new MTN jacket Nirvana in the meantime?

She found the infamous store known as Moon Leather. Cheap decals on store window, and, as she entered, cigarette smoke in the air. Middle-aged man behind the counter. Gruff-faced. Pockmarks.

    "Good afternoon," she said.

    "Whattayawant-saeyo?"

"I'm looking for a man," she continued, business-heels snapping, "perhaps you might tell me where to find him."

"NO MAN HERE. ONLY JACKET. YOU GO NOW!"

Hand on the counter. Standing. Angry. She didn't expect him to be violent.

She said, "Perhaps the name Drew Keith will ring a bell or two."

The man deflates on the spot. He's back in his chair, leaning, looking. Afraid.

"No Drew, no Drew. Very bad." The man leans an elbow on the counter, and with the same hand, points straight at her. "You no say name here."

"My... business associates have an unresolved matter with Mr. Keith."

"NO SAY NAME! NO SAY NAME! BAD MAN! TAKE ALL MONEY! NO LAMBSKIN! GET OUT! GET OUT NOW!"

With Moon Leather behind her, there was only the polluted Seoul air. But another smell was in the air. A worse smell. The smell of Drew Keith. The sooner she found him, the better. And she would find him.

100k already. holy shit. i'm so sorry guys

i also feel sorry for the libertine team if they are being honest, but impossible to tell. also "we can't reach him/he disconnected his phone/he seems to have moved" doesn't really jive with him casually sending me facebook messages telling me to post on the forum. not exactly off the grid, here.

hey dudes, 4am here in seoul.

i was really hoping i'd get my order (just a large wallet, i got my jacket way before anything like this heated up) before i left korea, but that doesn't seem like the case. if any of you guys remember i'm the guy here as an exchange student, and i've visited libertine twice and met drew and dan. drew is actually deaf lol, he couldn't really understand what i was saying and shook my hand awkwardly. unfortunately i'm limited in korean to only beginner level, so i can't do much to help out, but i can go back to libertine this weekend and see if drew is really gone, and maybe if dan is around.

You can ask for Drew if you want (he won't be there from what I'm told by Daniel). But please do not bother Daniel.

Very sincere words I used to close my review of my custom TOJ jacket:

I am not sure what it means that Drew selected me of all people to post on his behalf — likely, I was just a convenient choice and he saw me write here about Minami — but it took everything in me to not lose it on him at the moment. I am so disappointed.
