1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Today has been a really crazy day here. And I think everyone should take a step back and consider the gravity of what just happened.

Yeah, I don't know whether what just happened is good, bad, or doesn't change anything. I think we should really hold up until we get some sort of free legal consultation before we move on any further.

    Summary of events:

Charly reveals that Drew has been living a lavish lifestyle, going on vacations, not paying his employees, and not creating jackets.
Charly also advises us to chargeback immediately, that will most likely not get our jackets.
Under increasing pressure, Drew's fellow investors at Libertine Seoul remove him from his position there
    Mass paypal dispute being organized

    Did I miss anything?

No matter what you think, the possibility that Libertine removed Drew is fucked up.

We don't know the terms or repercussions of that.
If it's being sold, does it matter if he stays on?

If someone is able to help me research stuff, please contact me. Looking at a few hours of work. This would be for finding lawyers and seeing if there's a legal case.

My email address is dieworkwear at gmail.

Please let me know in your email if you speak and/ or write Korean or Japanese.

take this for what it is worth since i am not a TOJ buyer:

if the restaurant is in the middle of a sale, i think it would be in their best interest to keep you guys quiet. and maybe that means keeping him physically away from the restaurant or something.

i just dont see the logic in removing him (assuming they'd have to buy him out) immediately prior to a sale.

How do we know if this is not another story that Drew made up to stop the attack on Libertine Bar and Kitchen? What if the person behind both LibertineSeoul here and the Libertine facebook accounts is Drew? We have no way to verify these information.

I imagine they've probably told him to stay away and sort his personal shit out.

Drew doesn't handle the Libertine FB account. He has said so in the past (yeah yeah I know).

I'm sure he'll still be getting his cut when the restaurant is soon to be sold. I don't necessarily doubt that he's been canned, but what else is Libertine going to say? Their ratings are at 4.3 now and it was at 4.9 before the recent 1 star reviews.

If he's really been fired, well at least he'll have time to ship out some jackets... ha.

    Guys,

That was completely false. I don't know who is posing as Libertine, but your jackets are in production. Look at these 10 jackets on my bed. I have about 15 more truckloads waiting in the warehouse which I've been paying rent for for 2 years. Just relax. My leather supplier had a shortage recently but all the million dollars is locked up safely in my bank account. Don't worry.

Thread is not over. The pursuing of legal action had no connection to bombarding Libertine. Bombarding libertine was always a PR move to put pressure on Drew's co-owners to make him fix the situation. After this, the legal option is the only real avenue left.
