1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Edit: Although he didn't pay charly so what am I expecting

    All signs point to drew being incompetent, my bad

    Apology accepted.

    And the guy doesn't have a restaurant biz. He is a partner in a restaurant biz. He isn't gonna take his "salary" and pay someone to do shit.

    It's easy to pay for additional support staff to help you get the orders shipped. However, given TOJs clusterfuck of an order management system (all through gmail) I'd argue hiring more staff wouldn't speed things up too much (at least in the short run) because of the time it'd take for the staff to figure out how to cross reference the purchases with jackets made

    That said though, I know Drew is a busy guy and all with multiple ventures but it's totally unfair for customers to wait 70~90+ weeks for a jacket that is probably completed but stuck in limbo because TOJ is no longer his primary focus anymore

    he has given up his lavish lifestyle for YOU... the honored customer

    This pretty much hits it on the spot. Fulfillment of a MTM/MTO is harder than pick-and-pack fulfillment out of regular inventory. It's fulfillment jenga. Stick that on top of the fact that the entire "database" is a gmail account, and that people have been changing specs and swapping orders between buyers, and you have a clusterfuck that would take anyone not already acquainted with the situation weeks or even months to sort out. It takes a well organized mind to efficiently run a business of any scale.

    At this point, I would probably be willing to pay a bit extra to have my 3/14 order guaranteed to arrive within this month.

    @LA Guy Any news on that Johnson's moto you mentioned a little while back? Is there a thread devoted to that yet?

    Sampling is done. Right now, we are figuring out a fair price for the different leathers, and making sure that all the logistics are in place to make this thing happen. I will make a thread when we are ready to actually start taking pre-orders.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

    @impolyt_one

    It's May 1 dude. Can you give an update on what's going on before somebody brings the hammer down on The Libertine again? Just a short "I'm working on x" will do.

    I think all June orders are cleared out. But yeah in the next two months for sure. That is fucking crazy. Drew hasn't responded to any of my e-mails since I sent them last month. I'm sure he's doing shit and sending things out (a cursory glance at #templeofjawnz on instagram is proof of this) but come on.
