1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thanks for the pic. I thought BCDRs didn't have buttons to hold the lapels as a design choice though, did you specifically ask for it? I've noticed your olive QBCDR doesn't have any, I take it you favor without in the end?

Every trip to the mailbox disappoints. Six out of my seven living days are a disappointment.

Well it looks like people are getting jackets on a weekly basis now, so you'll all have your jackets soon enough.

I splurge at the cutoff because I have not seen anywhere else I can get this value proposition and this quality for MTM. I still have not found a replacement to get jackets like this.

I do regret not getting a DR2013 in a whiskey calf. All I own are lambskin and in pretty much similar tones. I definitely wish my Steel Grey BCDR was a light grey which they offered in the past, or that I stuck with Diesel Blue.

Out of curiosity, what ever happened to the SuperFuture ToJ thread?

I always thought he stopped paying (since TOJ was closing down) so the mods removed the thread.

So it's been one week since the end of the month.....

We were told most of the orders would have been done by now. What gives? Seriously, looked like 10 jackets shipped since the beginning of December announcement.

Came back to just post this: Picked it up off grailed. Black calf. Feels pretty indestructible. Good stuff. [IMG]

Yes Drew isn't very good at estimating production capacity. He over-promises and under-delivers. They are still working on July 2013 orders it looks like. Hopefully he will keep up the shipping and we will get our jackets eventually.

can you speak to how "heavy" calf is?

idk why, but i get this impression in my head that it's as heavy as those protective vests they have you wear at the dentist's office when they're taking x-rays of your teeth (if anybody knows what i'm talking about)

Haha, thats actually sort of accurate. Not as extreme as the dentist office vests, but it is pretty close. I used to have a lamb A-2 and this thing feels closer to a real "motorcycle" jacket. It's still super luxe and feels pretty similar to the SLP calf they use.

Pretty sure Drew added lead plates to protect people from radiation damage.

seriously it looks like they shipped 2 of every jacket type to make it look like they shipped "batches" of them but really was only a handful. It doesn't even look like it's even close to the majority of the orders! Wth.

Not every customer feels obligated to document their purchases in this thread. If it weren't for the whole "end of the month" shipping thing, I probably wouldn't have posted pictures of my jacket.

Seriously. I'm not going to post up pictures of my jackets when I get them. Plus consider that there are countless lurkers, SuFu members, HypeBeast members, Reddit MFAers, or just plebes who don't post on StyFo but might have ordered a jacket. That spreadsheet might only be like 50% of jacket orders.

So you can't really say "2 jackets a week."
