1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I got a jacket today and the value was marked as $30 [IMG]

Fit pics to come soon! This thing is spectacular. I know it sounds ridiculous but having it in my hands now it was so worth the wait (the original order was sometime in July 2013 and I bought the spot about a year ago). That's not to excuse the many unacceptable aspects of TOJ's carry-on, but that's how it feels.

Haha shoot. The picture didn't show on my phone. Now looking at it on my computer I see it and feel stupid for asking :).

I was always under the impression that the two-ways had been discontinued a long time ago. Was there a post by Drew at some point announcing their return?

Anyway I've got exactly what I thought I was ordering...

i asked for 2-ways if they were still available on my yet-to-arrive jacket; charly said if any were still around, they'd do it but couldn't guarantee anything.

It's not a matter of fanboyism really. It's like the limited run leathers - if they're available at the time of your order, you can reserve them IIRC? I seem to recall him saying at one point moving forward he wouldn't be using 2 way zips and it spawned some huge discussion about zippers (surprise!) and something about how double zips weren't as clean. You can search the thread if you want.

I've got a parka (not TOJ) with two-way zips and it's great for a big coat like that, but I much prefer the one-ways on leathers like these.

    search for TOJ

    enjoy

You cannot reasonably say "well he mentioned it in a post on a web forum a year ago" is some sort of announcement or warning that we would receive different zippers than what we thought we were buying.

    That's just plain stupidity.

    Jackets arrive years late

    "It's okay! I don't mind waiting!'

Lamb so thin some people have to be careful of tearing it

"Thin is better for hot weather!"

Wallets and Daypacks promised to be separate production, still delayed for half a year

    "It's not Drew's fault!"

    Mismatched zipper pocket pulls

    "It's an honest mistake!"

Daypack has different (generic) zippers and a different leather bottom

"It still looks good! Who cares!"

    Person receives incorrect zippers

"But they still look good to me!"

Refunds placed months ago still not sent

"Hehe! I hope they don't get refunds until after all the jackets are shipped!"

Person receives jacket he thought he switched back in September

"Well, it's fine since he likes it anyways!"

    Zipper pulls mysteriously changed

"Well, Drew made a forum post mentioning this once! You should have paid attention!'

some added optimism or this might be irrelevant, for any folks waiting on a QDR (like myself), I was going through old posts and they had been lumped in with the BCDR batches in the past...
