1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I agree. Too over the top or flamboyant for my taste. Give me something timeless and classy instead.

Well there's flamboyant and then there's flamboyant. I think the DR2010 is great.

This topic is so huge, any idea where I could find some calf vs lamb arguments? I have already a calf jacket and it's incredibly heavy, is the lamb much lighter ? I'm just a little concerned about the durability of lamb.

Just curious, what do you think makes it more wearable than the Lewis Leathers version? Better leather, updated fit, or something else? It looks to be almost the exact same design as the Lightning except the sleeve zips and chest patch.

I'm not personally a fan of this design but respect that you and many others are.

Need to post some pics, finally TOJ weather here in Toronto.

Still waiting on last jacket, I think last update I got a month ago was awaiting shipment....

Need that olive green BCDR single needle diamond quilt! In my mind, that is a good combo.

Hard to pinpoint exactly, but when you try those things on in person, they feel like actual motorcycle jackets (well, cause they are). It's partly about the cut and material. I like them a lot, but I don't think I could personally pull one off.

Anyway, Aeglus has a bunch of photos of himself wearing that jacket in different ways. I like the one above, but I think there are even better pics on his Tumblr

It's the side straps that kill it for me, the minimalist version of that I like.

Ended up changing the BCDR to 2010DR (52 weeks) if that helps with jacket timeline.

it's funny; i think every leather jacket like that looks naked w/o the side straps.

i suppose it helps that i actually use the side straps.

Goat is actually an option again. Any though on brown (not dark brown) vs black? (I have already a black lamb jacket, not TOJ). Electric blue is available too

The MDR IMO is smoother, the 2010 rider is busy with the side straps, I just feel they would be annoying and out of place.

The cut and everything else is fine but that's exactly why there are diff versions of the rider. I'm sure toj guys realized that the 2010 may not be for everyone.

So if you attempt to order a toj do you also get a sampler from the resteraunt?
