1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Green lamb Harrington sounds intriguing. Was there ever a makeup like that/do you have any idea what it looks/might look like?

Completely ripped off of GDL203, though mine will have blond horn buttons, rather than MOP

    A-1 or MA-1?

If A-1 how the hell long have you been waiting because I thought that was discontinued well (like years) before the cutoff.

It's the A-1. The model was cutoff a while ago, but Charly was super nice and let me order it after some pleading. I assume orders like mine somewhat screw up their batch production process, which is why it's typically not allowed.

I originally wanted to get one like Aeglus' model, which has a zipped rather than a buttoned front, but that was one special request too many.

Very jealous of the Harrington DieWorkwear.

What was your fourth jacket going to be?

It was going to be a black goat 4-zip moto, but I ended up getting a black lamb Margiela 5-zip, so I decided to sell that spot. What did you end up ordering with that position?

The vtg is doing great. It's darkening really slowly. it's seen some, but not a lot, of oiling, and hasn't had that much prolonged sun, and I'm really enjoying its current "Toj light whiskey" color. it soaks up water--never been in a serious rainstorm with it, and i don't think i'd want to be--so it's a "nice day" jacket. I've had no stitching issues. stiff as a fuck though.

I originally had a a black lamb QBCDR but I changed it last week to a brown unglazed goat a2, inspired buy a picture from your blog actually that I've had on my computer for a while. Out of curiosity what is that jacket? I've been curious for a while.

That brings my order to, in order of earliest ordering date Brown Goat A2>Black Calf 3ZIP MDR>Black Lamb A2>Black Lamb MA1>Red Calf 2010DR.

Black QBCDR and brown a2 both sound good. FWIW, I wear that A2 when I don't want to look overly conspicuous. I'm a grad student, so sometimes it's useful to have clothes that are a bit less attention getting.

Feel like a dick saying this, but unfortunately can't reveal the name of the company that made that jacket. It's one of the few things I can still find on eBay for relatively affordable prices. They're popular in Europe and Japan, but not so much the US, so jackets can sometimes be found on discount at eBay for pennies on the dollar. FWIW though, 99% of their stuff is a bit ... conservative ... so perhaps not to the taste of people in this thread. Also makes them kind of generic, so you can get their designs from any number of companies.

One of the reasons why I've been reluctant to sell my other ToJ spots is because I think they do much more interesting designs. People say that you can go to SLP or whatever, but as a guy who owns an SLP jacket (not a DR), I find ToJ's stuff to look much more unique. I haven't come across any substitutes, personally. It's not really so much about the price of ToJ, so much as the design.
