There's got to be more than two. http://www.styleforum.net/showpost.p...postcount=2195
I ordered a QDR. I placed my order on March 18th so I hope it made the first cutoff and will be shipped soon but since there do not seem to be so many QDR orders I think i did. No BCDR for me (for now).

I'm considering a black, white, grey (whatever colour the sample was), or perhaps whiskey BCDR but I'm waiting for more pics and a definite summer job or for the price of silver to jump to $80/oz.

Spring/Summer in the northern hemisphere must be why so few have been ordered because that jacket is so dope.

One thing I've been curious about, why are the upper and lower zippers different? Is that on purpose or...?
That's how they come from YKK. The bottom zipper used to be round and teardrop shaped and now this year they're coming out gingko-shaped, but apart from that, same old. It's a common zipper, the Junya x Vanson used the same part in bright finish: [IMG]

Maybe, although I have seen a few who has ordered more than one and gotten theirs one at a time. I am not sure if they ordered the jackets at the same time or at different times and it just overlapped with an old order but it would still be nice to get an update.

RFX you might be in the same boat as me. I received this email from charly.

Kind of frustrating because I paid for my Min DR 4+ weeks ago and it seems like nothing has been done in that time. Maybe this could be avoided if the parts necessary to make the jacket are ordered when the person pays.

Ouch, that's not very good customer service IMO. They should've let you know sooner.

In the scheme of made to order / bespoke items, a six week turn around is nothing, just FYI everyone

Unfortunately no one can foresee their supplier running out of something that they need in short order. To keep it all in inventory would mean adding overhead costs that will only be passed onto us.

Ok I think you missed the point. I paid over 4 weeks ago.. It is not hard to order leather and other material when I pay - they have the money. There is no extra overhead in that scenario. Yes 6 weeks is not too bad razele, but by the time the jacket is made and shipped to me it is looking at closer to 7-8 weeks. I had been expecting it in the next couple of days from the posts here (I hadn't been told otherwise).

Didn't Nereis already state a reason

They don't receive the money then run straight to the supplier for each individual order. Can you imagine doing that for any business that handles more than 1-2 orders a week? In the most logical case, which I'm pretty sure how it works, TOJ collect orders for a set number of jackets then get the supplies and provide them to the manufacturer (aka guy that puts them together). Small runs, difficult supply which is a realistic problem for any small business.

I understand your frustration, I really do. I'm waiting on a piece of custom clothing and the supply chain is holding things up. But in both cases, it isn't the business being irresponsible or lazy. It's an unexpected supply chain issue which, happily, is being communicated to you rather than brushed aside.

^ lol would shipping a red leather instead of a grey one be considered "brushing aside"?

I didn't order a grey lamb though but Charly already replied to my e-mail and said that my order is in line to get worked on, I am not sure if that means they are being made now (or soon) or if it will be in like after the BCDR batch. All I was looking for was a reply and an update from ToJ and I got that so i'm a happy camper... for now. [IMG]

^ what'd you order? I'm debating if I want to change color, 2 week wait isn't too long, but still.
