that hasn't been my experience. my first two jackets took 14-18 weeks and the moto i ordered 06/10 (the day of the closure announcement) was sent on 07/31, seven weeks later. lead times have decreased before.

there's already proof lead times have decreased before. Order density and volume decreased (per drew) after the initial "closing surge" so common sense says the people AFTER that will have SHORTER wait times.

MTM leather jackets at this quality level and price point is pretty unique imho. If you know of another equivalent source I'd truly love to hear it.

Weren't you caught up in that Edwards of Manchester fiasco? And now you have a TOJ on order as well?

Orders for those closed mid April with a quoted two month production time so we should be pretty close.

Maybe @mrchariybrown can give us an update?

If you really want to know some more MTM leather jacket businesses send me a PM. I can name over 5. I don't want to disrespect the sanctity of the TOJ thread by posting other companies.

I did ask Charly about them last week as I'm moving in August and wanted to know if they'd be ready before then, he told me he had no idea as Drew is handling them himself.

    Korean Craftsman
Lord Charlie, this is an unexpected pleasure. We're honored by your
    presence.

    Charlie
You may dispense with the pleasantries, Korean Craftsman. I'm here to put you
    back on schedule.

The Korean Craftsman turns ashen and begins to shake.

    Korean Craftsman
I assure you, Lord Charlie, my men are working as fast as they can.

    Charlie
Perhaps I can find new ways to motivate them.

    Korean Craftsman
I tell you, the jackets will be operational as planned.

    Charlie
Drew does not share your optimistic appraisal of the situation.

    Korean Craftsman
But he asks the impossible. I need more men.

    Charlie
Then perhaps you can tell him when he arrives.

    Korean Craftsman (aghast)
    Drew is coming here?

    Charlie
That is correct, Korean Craftsman. And he is most displeased with your
    apparent lack of jackets.

    Korean Craftsman
    We shall double our efforts.

    Charlie
I hope so, Korean Craftsman, for your sake. Drew is not as forgiving as
    I am.

What melts better? calf or lamb? I guess I'm asking this because if the sleeves melt off my TOJ0, I can just rock it like a vest.

    Hi guys

I need some help identifying this TOJ jacket. I bought it a couple of years back here on SF and although it's amazing and buttery soft, it just didn't make it into the rotation. I tried some searches but couldn't find this exact one (the official TOJ thread is a bit long so I thought I'd try here before going through every post). I'm sure it's not that hard to identify. Buttery soft means...probably lamb, right?

If anyone can give me even an indication of fair B & S selling price on this, I'd appreciate it. It has to be at least 4 years old and maybe more. It's in very good shape.
