1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What's the best way to wash a TOJ0 or a moto? Just with hand and soap? What about the wool?

Sorry dudes, thought we'd ship Monday - turns out we have to fill out more EMS slips than we thought and Sally has quit TOJ recently, so me and Dan do that alone now. I'll be sending tracking numbers tomorrow once they're in the post.

While that is unquestionably an awesome jacket, this makes it sound like a pretty shitty music festival.

I was selfishly hoping the harrington would be offered in sand or camel or olive or something...I already have something in diesel blue on the way and I feel like I can't justify that level of redundancy in my wardrobe.

Anyway, congrats to Drew on the new restaurant. I'll remember to keep an eye on this thread now that it has hints about small-batch runs and the future of TOJ instead of just the usual slew 'when is my jacket coming' posts.

Has a final decision been made on the Harrington jackets yet?

I feel like there are jackets with more interest and less cost than the harrington (peacoat, fishtail, just to name two). Would be better too since if there was a fishtail run, jackets would be delivered by the time it's winter again

If there was any option for a fishtail run I would definitely be in, though it doesn't look like it will possible.

Just because there is interest, doesn't necessarily mean he has the current resources to make the jackets. The fishtail ended last winter, I'd assume he hasn't purchased any wool since the last jackets were made. Where as suede has continued to be offered and I'd imagine he'd have the stock materials to make a final go at those jackets.

I think we greatly overlook the materials and manufacturing side of things.

Yup, if you can wear nice clothes to a festival, it's probably not a very fun one.

Well the old ma-1 was nylon. It shouldn't be hard to clean. As long as the fit isn't tight then I don't see any problems with it.

    1. bentobox, I think I stood next to you at some point this weekend. I saw somebody w/ an arm office on their jacket and looked at the shoulder for a minute looking for details but I didn't say anything and I couldn't remember the details of my anniversary harrington enough to figure out if it was toj or not.

    2. coachella is surprisingly clean, it's dry, people are physically pretty respectful, and it gets down to the mid 60s at night. every night, i was wishing i had more to wear than a shirt.

None of that seems very fun. Give me a dimly lit concrete box that's literally dripping with people's sweat any day of the week.

It's beautiful. But drop your jacket off in the cloak room.
