1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Obsessed w my MA-1. What's another good option for someone who likes to wear their jacket unzipped? I want a rider (QDR) but I don't like how they billow out when unzipped. A2 maybe?

Anyone wear the wool ma-1 in rain? Did it absorb a lot? How did it do in wet conditions ?

Think about what happens when you wear a suit in the rain jfc.

I don't normally wear a suit in the rain so that's of no help to me.

I am wondering if the ma-1 just soaks in or if it's a bit water resistant, thick fabric allows for that sometimes.

The question was more of what happens and what to do to prevent it from getting soaked if I wear it in rain. Or should I completely avoid rainy weather.

I wouldn't recommend it. Mine got wet under light rain, and stayed damp for awhile, so I had to hang it out to dry.

Light-med rain isn't going to damage it but I would avoid if possible.

When it rains stay in door. Open a book and brew yourself a nice cup of coffee.

Which TOJ jacket + material would be best for just lounging around the house? Is there a limit on how long I can make a jacket? Maybe its time to cop a lambskin DR robe.
