1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

For Oxblood, Gunmetal or Silver? I know silver is popular but this old 'uncontrol' prototyle looks good.

are we sure distorbiant isnt some guy hired by toj to constantly post and hype up products? do you even buy anything? it seems like you're debating on two jackets every week.

that being said, i think id go with gunmetal. mostly because i think that oxblood looks better with the dr2010 style and i think the dr2010 looks better in gunmetal

He's actually mostly a troll. ToJ doesn't hire people to post for them :puzzled:

Personally I think silver zips look better on their own but gunmetal zips are far more wearable. Sold my silver zip moto for this reason.

That oxblood is beautiful. I'd never have hesitated if they offered oxblood in lamb for an MDR. I'd say go with gunmetal if you want a muted look. I still wonder if I should change to gunmetal or not for my toffee tan MDR. I know Charly said they prefer silver and I trust their sense. Any gunmetal zip owners want to comment? Does it make for a muted look? Why'd you choose gunmetal if you did?

Ah well. I'm not fussed about it since I kind of assumed it'd be my one and only TOJ order before they close. It's fine if it takes longer, might arrive just in time for fall '14.

you sold your toj cause of its zippers being silver as opposed to gunmetal???

I have a CM with gunmetal zips and I just find it to have a more laid back vibe that blends easier with my outfits.

See above; I wear the CM a lot more, so why stash the moto in my closet if I can pass it to someone who would wear/enjoy it?

That still doesn't explain why you think gunmetal zips over silver zips

He just don't like em. I wasn't trying to start this debate up again. I just wanted to know what you guys thought about them specifically on the DR 2010 in oxblood. [IMG]

    edit:
Russet FQHH DR 2010 looked pretty good too.

Nothing, really. It's just that Drew referred to this design as an "Uncontrol'ed-out look"

Though he may have just meant this jacket with the fur collar

Why's there seemingly no love for the BCDR? Thinking of ordering a quilted version. Lamb or calf?

I just realised that the MDR allows you to keep the "upper" collar turned up (against the cold, etc.) while the lower part can be kept buttoned flat. That's definitely interesting and I like it!
