1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

If I remember correctly that issue has been discussed in this thread before. I would try searching for it.

Yes, I guess silver-ish would be a more accurate description, but not around the seams, rather at the back of the jacket in random areas. I tried cleaning it with a slight damp towel and polishing it with some leather conditioner, still no luck so far.

Honestly I would just search it, I got them around the seems which I think there just marking where to cut the leather but I'm sure it could be removed I don't think it's really something that stained the leather.

Oh is that what that was? I thought it was my girl rubbing off make up on my jacket. It eventually went away though.

This is correct. The silver marks are from the pens they use to mark the leather before cutting.

Too heavy for lamb I would think.

Someone in the thread has good results with saphir reno and maybe some black cream in the worst spots

What's an interesting TOJ 0 colorway that hasn't been tried yet?

Don't use any conditioner on your TOJ if it isn't black, especially Obenauf's! Stop molesting the jacket, let it be.

As long as we're on the topic of Obenauf's and ToJ: I decided my order for a minimalist double rider would be in whiskey lamb, but per Charly there's only a relatively bright shade of that. Is it a feasible idea to try darkening it a tad afterward with a coat or two of Obenauf's? Light coats, of course. Has anyone tried this on lamb or even calf?

Lexol is good for leather. If you have had it for a while, you should condition.... Can't fix cracks after they happen.

correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think black and yellow has been done yet and I think it'd look pretty sweet (although I wouldn't get it for myself).

To the OP, I think if you go to the TOJ Gallery, every possible combo has been done by now so you can check them out. Grey body with black sleeves would be really cool though, and not a common make since most people opt for the all black.
