1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Agreed, though length looks good. Maybe taper the opening so the length looks a little better?

I haven't done any work on my jacket. Don't know how difficult it would be.

The fit isn't perfect and neither are some of my TOJ jackets. It all comes down to this: do you know a trusted tailor that can work with leather and is it worth the risk vs reward?

I personally don't know of a tailor I trust and I don't think it makes or breaks the jacket to have it a bit long and the cuff a bit wider.

I think we all get a bit caught up for getting that "perfect" fitting jacket since it's MTM, but the reality is that our jacket will still fit a little off sometimes. Wear it, enjoy it.

Did you get the spray bottle or apply it by hand? I'm debating which method will give me the most even coat.

Cole, that measurement is probably not accurate for the jacket, because bombers don't taper out at the waist like DRs.

ahh, true. but it is still a stock 46, so even if the measurements are different, they are changed to accommodate the general bomber fit, no? don't know if you follow my train of thought here but I still think it'd fit.

wow get the stick out of your ass. really don't know asking if I should buy a jacket in a thread dedicated to these jackets is "treating this thread like my blog." I used to, yeah, but I hardly post here anymore and if I do it's asking a question or answering one.

and you attacking other posters isn't exactly doing a justice to this thread either

If someone does not enjoy the content a user on styleforum.net is sharing, there is an ignore function built in to the message board system that can solve your challenges within seconds.

Or one can be a whiny cunt.

    Two very viable options.

This coming from two dudes who both said they would stop posting. One especially recently, who also continues to give sizing advice despite his recently shared tragic failure to size himself.

    lmao

I gave Cole a factual piece of information about TOJ jackets. That's it.

Some of you guys take this thread very, very seriously.

"I won't forgive anyone who derails my favorite slow-moving thread on my popular male fashion hobbyist internet forum."

edit: Can we please go back to talking about jackets we enjoy [IMG]
