1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

One of the best leather jacket manufacturers in the world is going to be closing shop soon, and you guys are worried about the little totes.

Mine is sitting in the basement collecting dust.

Sure, everyone's gutted about the end of days. TOJ jackets are amazing, and I know that everyone in this thread is disappointed about it, myself included.

Having said that, why would I not want the tote if its supposed to come with the full leathers? It's a dope wee bag.

Afaik the totes are complimentary items (not included in the price) that are sent out with full leather jackets as long as they are in stock

Saw someone yesterday in downtown Palo Alto (on University Ave.) with a sand tan (I think), 2010 DR.

I was eating in front of umami burger, would've said hello, but didn't want to explain to my friends why I would be yelling at a random guy about their jawnz.

Does anyone have any experience with and advice for ordering a Tojo 2013. I am about 5' 10 3/4" and 160 pounds but plan on putting on a little more weight (not too much. Just working out a little). And any opinions on which is the better of navy/black navy/grey black/black. Thanks

Email charly with your measurements. And they're all good, just pick one. I have black/black. It's nice. If you can't decide, just go with black/black because I said it looked good. It's not a life-altering decision.

For real? It was unbearably hot in the bay this whole weekend.

It's finally getting chilly enough in Ireland for a leather jacket ... but unfortunately my A-2 is on week 15 of 12. [IMG]

I'm moving to Spain this Saturday so leather jacket weather won't arrive there for another month or two!

Thanks for the comments on my question/exam prompt.

I'm still curious if anyone can comment on the difference in weights between the trucker jackets and the bomber jackets. Think I'm getting closer to a decision now, although come to think of it the weather here is basically either "really goddamn hot" or "decently chilly" so there probably isn't call for multiple weight jackets anyway. Hmmm.

Because TOJ invented the varsity, right?

Quality of my Unis pieces are top notch FWIW.

    TOJ didn't start the varsity.

    They finished it.

I'm hoping for a lighter weight S/S Varsity. Would be all I could rock out of this line too
