I was actually debating Toffee Tan/Bright Whiskey 2010 DR vs Olive Green BCDR.

Visually, I was able to picture in my head how the Olive Green BCDR with Diamond Quilt will look like in my head and I think it adds a bit of differentation from everyone else getting Black in this combination.

I also felt that the Toffee Tan/Bright Whiskey would look better on a MDR or 2010 DR styling more so than the BCDR. That's just my opinion.

I may get a Toffee Tan/Bright Whiskey as my final final jacket, but I have not decided on styling.

Also there are no photos of the Toffee Tan/Bright Whiskey as far as I know and there are pictures of the Olive Green. So that made things a bit easier. I think with how aggressive and "in your face" a diamond quilting pattern has on a jacket, it would be a bit more subdued under a darker colour such as Olive Green versus the Toffee/Whiskey.

    Hope that helps.

Please do post pics of the Burgundy jacket when you get it. Also, I thought that colour was no longer available? Does it go by a different name on JC?

I think he's referring to oxblood, though I may be incorrect.

I think you're right - I took it to mean that as well.

Looks like I'm going to add one more ToJ to my recent two orders. Decided on black suiting wool MA-1.

To whom it may concern, i'm sitting here fondling both sateen and bemberg linings (on my moto and bcdr, respectively). I can gather nearly zero difference. Though I'm sure the ToJ boys don't mind upgrading you, you really need not stress it.

So I was looking a little closer at my daypack today and I realized that there's a circular area and another stripe about two inches across on the side of the suede where the nap appears to have been seared off or glued down...Looks like a factory error to me. Hit it with a suede eraser/brush, didn't seem to fix it. What to do?

So not to continue this discussion for the sake of arguing for bemberg -- I just think it's an incredibly faulty argument to say materials are the same just because they feel similarly. How the material ages, takes wear, and just the general mechanical properties of a fabric can not be felt just by touch.

    Also -- sick jacket.

Just spend the goddamn $15 so you don't have to ponder upon if you could've done better or something.

Or just get the Sateen like everyone else from the past 2 years (for all these 2011 model jackets). I don't think anyone's complained about the lining yet.

That one dude is dying for fit pics.

As far as lining goes, you've already received your jacket so I'd just keep it. Not worth the extra time and money in your case.
