1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Agree but black lamb and brown suede is a pretty poor match.

Nor did I say that. They're wearing clark dbs, not something I'd pair with a black leather.

Getting an actual pet lamb is way less demanding than wearing its hide.

Bomber is obviously brown and looks black because of lighting, looks like a really dark brown though - maybe brown goat

    DESERT BOOTS IN COLLEGE

EVERY GUY IN COLLEGE WEARS A PAIR

    AMIRITE??

i remember when i had a pair. when i was at a uniqlo the last time with my college roommate, he pointed out a dude and was like "OH SNAP HE GOT THE SAME SHOES AS YOU! OH AND HE HAS THE SAME ROLLED UP JEANS"

I looked then sheepishly turned my head and shrugged "NAHHHHHH"

(dude was wearing 5 pocket denim and Clark's Desert Boot with a OCBD). WHEN DID THAT BECOME SUCH A STANDARD?? LOOOOOOL

CDB's are actually pretty great it's just that homies have no idea that its okay to branch outside of the beeswax option. I own black suede CDB's that are really nice that I switch between my aldens

Probably also because they aren't buying them from clarks and thus only get the brown option that sketchers created. They are buying the chukka boots made by somebody else...and the changes are *always* for the worse. Weird lines of extra stitching, funny extra panels of leather, etc.

And if you don't use crepe, you are losing half of what makes the DB as nice as it is.

@ pronxs, never said they need black sidezips/combat boots, just pairing a black MDR w/ medium brown suede DBs does not long good

Drew, earlier you mentioned maybe doing a couple new designs for the more fantastical colours like electric blue.

I want an electric blue jacket, and a black one, but I'm still debating over which model for which colour, (4-zip vs, 2010,.... with the DR a tempting longshot for the blue). I don't want to pull the trigger on a blue 4-zip, only to see the ideal jacket come out a month later.

I should mention that I recognize the obvious solution of simply buying the black one now, but damn, I'm not sure how long I can wait for the blue. I have really psyched myself up for it.
