Geez this thread is massive. I finally am deciding to take the plunge, like many others, on a ToJ piece with the news of the break. Anyway, I looked everywhere on the site and couldn't find the info - what form of payment does ToJ take? Gotta build up that paypal balance...

Maybe this is a crazy/dumb idea, but I find the collar on my DR kind of hard to pop and get it to stay up, I think calf leather at the back of the collar would've made it stiffer.

Calf definitely makes it pop more easily all around, though mine doesn't pop evenly on both sides unless I constantly adjust.

After that picture of navy lamb, I am trying to visualize if it would work on any of the bomber styles. Might be interesting.

Cool thanks, it was just a thought. You didn't have the goat leather last time we talked, and I didn't really want another lamb bomber (I have the CWU in black lamb) so maybe I'll get a brown goat A-2 unless you can talk me into something else. Maybe leave the suede patch off to set it apart from the CWU a bit. Definitely going to do one (or two) more MTM before that goes away. I kind of chickened out on doing the VTG CM but now I'm back to looking at it again...

My lamb collar stays up when popped, but this may have something to do with the fact that it is always popped, doesn't have snaps and stays on a hanger in a closet with the collar up

First leather, a CM in dark whiskey. The sleeves/arm pit were fairly tight straight outta the package. I had some initial bruising on the inside of my elbow and my arms would get numb from the pinching at the top. Those issues are long gone after a couple weeks of wear, and it continues to feel better by the day. I love it and think it fits great now. I am too clueless to know how a perfect jacket looks/feels, so would be grateful for any feedback so I can hurry up and get another order together before the deadline. I'm thinking CWU in black lamb--want something in black lamb--but am open to suggestions. Want a bball too, and maybe a 2nd leather.

Still have to mold the collar. Does that require a complete soak or just a little dip? Thanks for any help.

i think it looks good as is but that arm numbing situation doesnt sound too healthy!
iirc, drew said to spray the collar with a spray bottle or something.

Drew you said the cutoff is the first does this mean I have to place an order on the 1st or the 31st?

How much of a difference could that possibly make? If you know you want something don't wait until the last possible minute.

Also for your Dior jeans wtb in sig, there was a post with them in sales thread last night.

Some people get paid on the first of each month. A cut off date before payday could mean that people wont have access to the disposable income they need to make a final order until the first of the month (or second if they need a day for the check/transfer to process).

Use a credit card and pay it off the next day? Unless you've maxed them out I suppose ..
