Hey Drew, can I get an answer on this?
They are the same leather
Not too worried about the switch from mtm to off-the-rack at all. What has always appealed to me about ToJ is the transparency, cut, and quality. I like that Drew can update a design without adding useless embellishments, ripping off, or hybridizing ideas that really should remain separate. The spirit of TOJ seems to be in turning out aesthetically pleasing, and well made clothes based on classics, but with updates here and there that give the idea new life and a better experience for the owner.
Random idea, but it would be cool to see you guys put out a sick black trench with mode details and a masculine cut. ToJ leather, horn, and waterproof Japanese fabric...
if you want a-1 get brown
if you want black go for cwu w/ ribbed collar
This one, I'm working on...
For proper vampire hunting.
And for putting down steam powered nazi Cyborg zombies.
Would be too cool with leather epaulets&collar stand (hi TOJ peacoat), as well as raglan sleeves.
No raglan sleeves, would fuck it up.
Need that strong shoulder.
Black suede epaulets.
Would a whisky lamb CWU look nice?
+1 gotta make it look crisp
I realize this would probably make me look more like a vampire and less like blade...
dark navy option with some brown/navy leather trim (leather under collar a la toj pcoat) would clearly say I'm fucking crisp, but I'm not a banker. or a flasher...
would be hideous
what is the material used for the removable fur collar of the A2 bomber ?
Going on the fur collar, if you get a brown goat jacket do still get the removable shearling ?
Separate names with a comma.
