I ordered the same as you, and I'm 8 weeks in. I emailed Charly today and he said mine would be shipped next Friday. I think they often make similar items in batches, so I'd assume yours will be sent at the same time :)

    Another TOJ missed connection lol.

So my friend was eyeing this one cute Filipina girl in the crowd and I had mentioned that she looked like DJ So Super Sam who was also backstage at Coachella during Gambino's set. I left for the bathroom, come back and see him talking to her and he says "dude, I just tried to get at Donald Glover's girlfriend." We hung out for a bit, she liked that I mistakened her leather sleeved jacket for UC, and she loved my TOJ. We need to get Donald out of BoO and in some TOJ lol.

Looks great but I don't see what all the hype was about.

I don't think it was meant to be some sort of crazy one off like the Uncontrol rider. It is just an MDR without snaps and a few lines removed after all... it's what I expected it to be.

Are people getting this with the leather or fabric collar?

I prefer the fabric collar but both are great.

This I understand. What I don't get is all the people who say, OMG, I just saw this great, reasonably priced jacket with superior materials and construction that fit me perfectly.... Drew, can ToJ make me one!!!!

    :puzzled:

that looks really good, especially for an ultra modern helmut/lad/platypus type style. I say not pour moi, but very very well done.

Just copped Xhale12's 2010 DR. Never had a leather jacket before (unless you count the half leather TOJ1) so I'm super excited. Gotta figure out how to wear it now instead of having it wear me

That happens less often than the 'Drew, I just saw this piece from some brand that makes an aesthetic totally conflicting with yours, can you make me this?'

In other less conflicting thoughts, I saw a Tom Ford harrington-esque leather yesterday selling at Isetan for pretty much $10K on the dot, and it was made from TOJ leather, the black NZ lamb. lol. Workmanship was good, but not better than what I can do. It had some nice striped wool ribbing on it, but shit, a TOJ costs 7% of what this jacket costs, it is truly amazing to think about. The hand and grain was exactly the same on the leather; if I put a few dollars more into little things that aren't really necessary, like tags and interior lining details, my jackets would hit 100% as hard as that TF. crazy.
