1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

When you get suits made from superfine wools, the problem areas are usually going to be in the pants not the jacket.

there are some questions about durability with the smaller fibers, but I would guess that those issues occur mostly in the seat of the pants and at pressure points where sitting and moving put a lot of strain on the seams of the pants. The jackets usually do just fine.

If women find TOJ on guys a tenth as attractive as I find TOJ on this lady, it's easily worth the price and the wait.

the jacket will be fine, especially in the relaxed fitting nature of the jacket without high friction or stress points. It's just balla.

Wifey luuurrrves the jacket. Only thing she asked is whether the upper arm area near the quilt, could be made slimmer?

Jacket looks great on the model.

I think the transition from the quilting to no-quilting at the elbow still looks a little unrefined but hey...it's a prototype right? That's damn good for a prototype that wasn't even cut for her measurements.

That's my amateur feel as well. Obviously he said it has to be attached as a separate panel, but the hemline around the bottom of the quilted portion seems a little off, somehow. Makes it look more like a separate piece than an integrated part of the sleeve.

I can think of two meanings for that acronym, but both are still an appropriate response to the quote lol.

They seem pretty appropriate to me...however, they are complete opposites.

Just want to put in some words of encouragement for the MA-1. As somebody who wears wool suits to work year round I'd be right at home with one. Suiting wool doesn't fall apart, sure I wouldn't go hiking through deep brush with a wool suit jacket but who gives a shit. It would probably be more wearable in the summer months than my leather if it's not filled with something. Either way just waiting on the price and I'm probably in.

I ordered a peacoat near the end of Sept and Charly just quoted me approximately 3 more weeks. I think you'll get yours shipped in a week or two based on that?

Drew, if you do decide to go ahead with the MA-1 suiting wool model, is there a chance you'd ever allow for another model to be created alongside it?

Ha it was an innocent question! I actually like the wool model, and can easily see it as something I'd incorporate into my wardrobe. I mean, customization/options is sort of a ToJ hallmark (although I guess ToJ is no more....)
