Well.. Yes, I'll take that as a compliment. But it was more of "oh shit!" and having to grab the brakes and almost lay the freaking bike down or plaster myself all over the minivan.* Do that in a car and you at least have airbags, seatbelts, crumple zones, etc. Motorcycles are more of a risk, but goddamn. If I can see you as I come down the street 100m away and you wait until I close/enter the intersection.. it's very irritating. *this usually happens at least once a week.. good for getting the heart rate up. It's not like I'm doing 60 down 6th, either. For some reason, my commute is congested, but fine until I hit K-Town and then it's complete shit. One day, the odds will catch me and I'll be hitting the pavement. If I ever write a Paperboy style video game where you play a motorcycle rider trying to deliver drugs/money/ToJ to the Yakuza, little old asian ladies in minivans will be one of the 'characters' trying to cut in front of you at random to kill you.
