yah I am a tan convert started looking at the photos and i think tan is still the best most versatile colour, I wish the tan were slightly more grey but i don't like the grey that they used on the last run.

Placed my order, charly says it won't be sized until drew gets back from japan.

I'm thinking I want a 52 but slightly longer than my A-1 just an 1" or so.

Can someone answer a ridiculously OCD question?

Is the measurement at the bottom of TOJ jackets bigger than the "waist" measurement on the size chart?

I gave my waist size to Charly based on where I wear my jeans, or slightly above. My hips are definitely bigger than that point.

The reason I ask is that I tried on a moto style jacket today that fit great except the bottom of the jacket, where it was way too tight. This got me praying I didn't screw up my TOJ order (crosses fingers)

The waist measurement on the size chart equates to the bottom hem of the jacket. The midsection measurement is closer to your true waist (2" above the navel). If you gave all of your measurements to Charly, he'll do a good job of sizing you out for the jacket. Just trust them as they've sized hundreds of people.

Yeah I trust Charly's skills but I might have screwed up by giving the wrong measurement. I gave him right below ribcage for "midsection" and my jeans waist for "waist". The jacket would fall a few inches below that point, so I would need the bottom to be wider.

ftfy. We have all the methods possible for getting people into the right size, all one needs to do is measure themselves according to the way we need it, and that's all there is to be done.

That's a lesson I've learned as well. Listen to Charly, the guy's a sizing god.

Just follow the detailed measuring guide. Drew worked his butt off making that thing, use it and you can't go wrong.

Yeah I did - gave body measurements. I placed the order a while ago. Have emailed Charly now to clarify.

Really hoping for return of the BCDR for the re-collection.

That or may just order a gray BBall if they become available..

Realmisr's bcdr is my favorite TOJ piece (artishard's old one is my second, and the ucdr third). Wish it got more love when it was still available.
