    Just keep in mind that hemlines can always go up, but not down... so plan accordingly. FWIW I don't think making them 3/4 cuffed is wasteful, though. I also think they'd make nice shorts, either to the knee or higher. Since all the action is in the top block though, we can't afford to make shorts and trousers - we'll just make them long and people can make them whatever length they want to. They're tapered enough to do all of those lengths from stock, imo.

    As for TOJ, or me, or whatever the work setup would be, just thinking of possible changes. Would be nice to refresh things and address some of the concerns that people have. The product is still as good as ever and little would change on that end, only improve; I am just talking about rearranging things a bit. TOJ came about kind of accidentally 3 years ago, and is getting a little big for it's toddler bed, something like that. Needs it's own room and stuff now. I think I've made a case for quality and my work, and adding a bit more here and there can't hurt.

    In that case, get something in black lamb, I still like the CWU-45 in black. You kinda dress in biz-caz but you're still young too, the CWU is fine as a biz-caz thing.

    The CWU in black is damn nice! Good choice, I'll think about how it might fit into everything. In my head, it was between the CWU/A-2/A-1. Do the A-2s still come with a shearling collar? I haven't been keeping up.

    Any hints on upcoming jackets or is that it for S/S? Thanks for the help, Drew.

    haven't talked to him much since he came out to Seoul and we hung out a bit. Probably working on small projects of his own I think.

    I'll definitely try to take photos of my grey ones when they arrive.

    I'm confident that these will fit awesome and if not - high waters/shorts

    not quite 2 weeks right now, we were tooling up for those, but I do hope they come out at a 2-3 week pace later when they're full-tilt. They can be done quickly. There's just lots of little things to get them done, little details - there's some cotton grosgrain taping inside the edge of the pockets that I specified, so that it's softer on the backs of the hands when you go to put them in your pockets. :eek:

    Drew, I hate to ask, but have you decided on bringing back the daypack?
    If so, approximately how long time would it take before I can buy it?

    About the daypack, nothing yet. Bags are made off on their own, away from the clothes, so they're essentially at the ready. I just don't know how much the materials I'd want to use cost.

    I have a couple ideas floating around for the backpack, one is;

    full hair on hide cowhide, maybe bi or tri-color, or animal print, not sure (one is natural and the other isn't) backpack body, with a natural (maybe whisky calf) leather bottom and trimming (the back panel of the backpack and then the inside part of the straps, and lower straps. Essentially, a fur backpack. I've wanted to make it for awhile now but I knew it was gonna be expensive and just back burnered it, but since people asked.... Anyway a) I don't know if the hair on hide is too thick to make into a bag, b) it's expensive material so I don't know how much the finished bag would be, and c) the guy who makes them might be both weirded out or pissed off (the leather might be so hard to sew that it's probably gonna have some angry craftsman come back to me later on)
