I used to always want a black leather jacket with, say, a bauhaus or skinny puppy logo on the back back when I was a rivet punk in the late 80s/early 90s. When I get ready to order mine, if you wanna take a stab at something like it, i might be down... ;) I love the idea of floral decoupage snaking around the shoulders/collars, etc.

yeah, but there's a lot of Seiko dealers out there. domestic product and all. The used watch stores I browse are jackroad.co.jp and the various ones you get on rakuten if you input reference numbers and they appear 'big' (selection-wise)...

What I was referring to, was the idea of pre-painting hides to make an all-over thing, or on the other idea, juxtaposing formal art in place of the typical rock-influenced painted art on these pieces. Think 17th century still life on mid 20th-century garments. That's my idea, at least....

See, this is why you need to be 1 - 2 sizes smaller, in which case I'd only be too happy to relieve you of that burden.

but synth, is it a style thing or a comfort issue? I understand picking the bball over the VTG when it comes to comfort and maybe style but a nice leather CM definitely has its place (on notwithit :inlove:)

Man, I'm thinking the 6.2 inch hem width is kinda severe.

I think I'm going to size up one to 30 just to be on the safe side. Could always take them to the tailor to take them in at the waist if they're too loose.

elaborate man. The style of the CM suits your wardrobe as far as I can tell. is it simply more of a materials thing? or a design thing?

is the reason you always default to your bball jacket because of the discomfort and infancy of the VTG CM?

I know that feel. My CM should be coming in a couple weeks and it's in the 80s already.
