A couple of my friends just came in and saw me browsing the TOJ gallery.

One of them said: "Some men watch porn. For others, only leather jackets do the trick."

Based off the pic in the gallery it looks pretty glam rock :slayer: but also quite inconvenient for actually living in.

Dark red sounds amazing if it looks more like crimson or w/e. I love crimson/burgundy outerwear so much. Dark green would also be cool.

Trying to line up a summer job that pays more than minimum wage so I can pick up a few more ToJ pieces for next F/W, thinking of getting:

-4 pocket MDR in a dark whiskey or similar color if that color sells out (or has already sold out)
-T1 or T3 suede (whichever has the tapered front pockets), in maybe a green or red, something interesting
    -green ToJ BD shirt
    -Black lambskin CWU

I brightened LeSamourai's duffle fit just a smidge so that you guys could see the details and stitch lines better, I am happy with this one. I really like how the duffle turned out this year.

wool, horn, leather - and we built that thing sturdy, it should be there for him for years. Duffle coats come and go all the time, but I feel like I gave a nice compromise to fit and modernity in that one. Too many details or too cropped like most are these days, and they'd be out quickly, but I feel this one will go the distance. It might just become the default TOJ duffle now, as a few other offerings have ascended to that level. Just not much more I feel I can do with them.

Yes, they're about half the length and width of the main ones. It's a traditional duffle detail, just not often transferred over in different fashion-ized ones...

That's a quality duffle. Not even a hint of that emasculated Northeastern preppy Take Ivy BS that a lot of duffles have.

I think I'm hitting a subconscious level in terms of design again lately, I will try to ride it out a bit. I like what is happening with the clothes lately, they are becoming more focused, many times more complicated yet cleaner looking, and yet they don't look like they're trying too hard. The 4-zip MDR, the T-1, this duffle, I include these in my favorites lately. Gonna have some lighter stuff coming along the way later if they turn out well.

Glad I ditched the original details I had planned for the Duffle coat. It was pretty bad, in hindsight.

Goatskin is allowable for Bombers, it would be good (though the brown is darker than the brown lamb) - I just like the idea of the 4 zip MDR in brown or black goat, it will be excellent. Trust me on this one. There are certain 'specials' now and then that come along as a result of the right meeting of design and material, and a 4-zip MDR in the super dark brown goat with brown-taped YKK's in silver is another one of them. We make a lot of nice stuff, but there's the few things that are just exceedingly NICE, like that whiskey 2010 DR we made for aeglus. I got to see that thing in person and it was pretty amazing. Blows up my ego to see stuff like that.

What I want to see is that dark brown goatskin 4-zip MDR with some age, maybe 3 months or more on it. It will look godly. Anybody who has to go back to college this coming fall should get one now so that it's perfectly worn-in by the time school starts, so you can style on campus plebes. Fuck, I wish I could be in college again... I'd leave a trail of styleless victims...
