My peacoat is like this. The top button on sides are staggered. I don't think it was a defect, more of an aesthetic thing. With that said, I only button the bottom two like you in the pictures. From the pictures, the fit looks good. You may want to reshape the lapel in the first picture though.

Drew's new stuff is in time for you guys to use your tax refunds on! I'm tempted on the goatskin myself.

The CWU doesn't get enough love. Tempted to get one in navy lamb, possibly with the ribbed collar.

Drew, when will you be back in Tokyo? I'm gonna be visiting in first week of April... Maybe a little meetup (and potentially pickup for a TOJ wahaha)

Perhaps you should wear your peacoat properly

Is that the same coat? I'm asking because all 3 levels of the buttons line up straight in your pictures. While in his pictures, the very top button is spaced out a bit, making it not possible to button it. This is what I've noticed when I received mine last year...some models have perfectly lined buttons, while some didn't.

I might need those trousers kinda soon for a thing in a few weeks. Maybe a crisp shirt too (if you guys are still doing those MTM dress shirts that is). Can TOJ help me?

It looks like a TOJ to me seeing it has the one button cuff. I can easily button the top button I just didn't for the quick pic since I was really looking for answers on the sleeve length. If it is worn "properly" the buttons still are a bit off but its not a big deal I was just curious.

Think it's safe to say that there's not a chance of that ever happening haha

and besides, that'd be butchering the classic flight jacket design... just order as-is man

why couldn't it happen? it seems like the cwu isn't cut as baggy as the A-2 and has more of a straight fit in the torso. I already have an A-2 so I'm good with the ribbing. I want something that I could layer under vests and would have more of a motorcycle jacket feel, hence the zipper cuffs and un-elasticated hem.
