A good bespoke last looks quirkier, but not necessarilty blobbier. (It depends on the foot.) RTW lasts have to fit the widest possible variety of foot shapes within a given size. A bespoke last only has to fit one foot. All the excess and margin of error space can be trimmed away. Presuming the same model (i.e., oxford v. oxford), a well made bespoke shoe should always look sleeker and smaller than a RTW shoe on the same foot.and why the last also so much more shapely than rtw? i would think that bespoke lasts since it is modeled after the peculiarities of one specific person's foot that the shoe would look blobbier
