Do you like Todd Solondz?

I like the earlier films such as the amusing "Welcome to the Dollhouse" and "Happiness"; the sort of witty hate speech that is exactly compelling.

I can watch "Welcome to the Dollhouse" again and again - great movie.
Happiness was very good as well - but it lacks something - can't really point the finger at something in particular. Almost too trivial.

Thumbs up on Todd. I liked Happiness more than Dollhouse. But Storytelling is my fave film by him.

I can't hear of Waters' name without bringing up this clip: Hey GS, you ever see this at the Rialto?

One of the funniest things in Happiness was when Dylan Baker's character, Bill, starts shooting people at random in the park. Somehow, it was very deadpan; please no pun intended.

Welcome to the Dollhouse, though I watched it a long time ago, was very, very annoying. And that was back when I thought annoying was charming. (This does not mean it was very, very charming).

Happiness I enjoyed very much.
