I received these AE McAllister's today. Lo and behold, they look as if they were raped by a ****** polish.

So, if I want a more even burgundy color, what would you reccomend? Stripping with rubbing alcohol, conditioning, and polishing with burgundy creme?

Get some pure acetone...any larger store with an HB section will have it. Just rub some of the polish off with acetone and rags or cotton swabs. Don't worry: it takes a lot of work and time to really strip off the finish. In a few minutes' time (I hope), you'll get the extra gunk off and will be ready to start over with the color of your choice.
