To dye a tie

I have a tie which is just like this one http://polo.imageg.net/graphics/prod...ndard_v330.jpg , but in blue instead of green. I was wondering if the results would be good if I turn it all blue, and also with what could I dye it. I know it is much easier to just get a new one but I would greatly appreciate an answer on this.

dying is actually a pretty involved process. If you don't know what you're doing, it's almost certainly better to just buy a new one.
