To Boot New York

I've recently begun to dig their boots, actually I just kinda noticed them at Nordstom. In person they look well constructed and the leather seems nice.
I'd never buy them at retail price, and hopefully they go on sale at some point.

I really like their Travis and the Hugh.

Anyone have any experience with either of these boots?

I have several To Boot boots and find them to be a good quality footwear. However, I do find Zappos to be rather pricey.

In general, I'd say. The markup on a lot of items seems very exuberant, in some cases. When they have sales, however, their prices can be quite reasonable. I would stray away from paying full retail from them, though.

Nordstrom had some half-boot styles that were down to like 190 or something during their anniversary sale. That's a price point I'm much more comfortable with and hopefully these full size boots go to 50% off at some point.

If you are in NYC, they have semi-annual sample sales. I've never been, but I'd imagine the prices are dirt cheap.

Unfortunately I've never been to NY and probably won't be going anytime soon. Wonder if they do phone orders during this time...

I have a pair of their black oxfords that I bought at Nordstrom Rack for not much more than $100. The have held together very well and are quite stylish.
