Sounds interesting. Does anyone make such a fabric?

You could look around on - Andrew Rogers' Flickr:http://www.flickr.com/photos/britishcloth/ - Scabal fabric catalogue - Huddersfield fine worsted - Dugdale Bros - John Foster I also remember seeing a website come past where you could design your own fabric, but I think that only included stripes, no windowpanes.

I am looking for the same. There are a number of blue suits in Vogue l'Uomo's 2010 winter guide. Somehow this shade of blue is unconventional and hard to find in the US.

A navy with a purple tone to it will be great for example...

Please pictures are appreciated...

Lesser used to have some of the Golden bale in their stocks...

Lovely worsted flannel were available...

They have more depth than plain worsted and they still have lovely colours...

lesser worsted flannel's has some fancy blues I believe. That's a staple flannel book though, so the taste is conservative

How about navy birdseye or nailhead?

My Norton is a pick and pick and it has texture and depth...

Worsted flannel and pick and pick are the best options for my project....

You could also consider herringbone, nailheads, melanges/marls.

What's the application...?
