Well if you coffee dye unwashed jeans then you can actually get a nice darker effect. This could be especially useful to make a white weft jean, like the 501 STF, appear brown weft.

I think the fades could look pretty nice with an experiement like that but I wouldn't drown an expensive pair.

Well maybe use coffee from the bins behind the next Starbucks. Wouldn't using "used" espresso make the dye even more "vintage"?
