Not bad at all for the price. I'm not in need of a timepiece, personally, but these would look pretty badass worn out.

I did a good look and couldn't find them online, but trust me they exist.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, the cream face with blue/silver stripe strap. It's a great size, hefty feel (larger than their campers), beautiful indiglo and strap feels nice. Haven't seen the $6 straps though, will look around cause that seems like a great deal.

I got a white face blue strap and a grey face grey strap with orange line for about 55-60$ (I forget). Khols.com they were 50$ each orig on sale for 33 then you get 15% off order and then free shipping for anything over 50$. Then I got 10$ Khols cash so it was a good steal for some beater watches.

Thanks for this. I was saving up for the J. Crew Timex until I figured out how dumb that was, so until I can afford a higher end watch this will do perfectly.

Some of the weekender collection looks to be the cheapest on Walmart's website.

I think they are making a killing on the $20+ straps. I doubt the basic Natos cost more than a quarter to make.

I picked up two of these recently through the Timex website when they were on sale -- one for myself and one for my wife. I'm actually very impressed with my purchase. It's a decent size and I actually like the Indiglo feature. I bought the dark grey face/burgundy strap and it was exactly what I needed to round out my watch collection. My wife loves the cream face/pink band version I picked up for her. She's been wearing for the past few days straight.

Is the ticking from the clock really audible? I have a Timex Easy Reader and the ticking can get annoying sometimes.

These Timex watches are silly fashion accessories. If you're going to bother buying a watch but don't want to/can't spend more than $100, buy a Seiko 5. There are a zillion versions out there in as many styles, including styles like those J. Crew Timex watches. Start at overstock and amazon, but then search out off-shore sellers on line. You can buy most of them for well under $100. Put it on any strap you want. It will look great AND work for as long as you own it. Plus you score points with serious watch snobs who will acknowledge that you have a "real" watch worthy of real respect. See this article, for example:

Haha, try again. I actually want to read the thing! Just looking at some reviews quickly, it seems the Seiko is notorious for running fast. That doesn't happen with my cheap Timex (the date runs off, but I really only need the time). Do you have a Seiko 5?
