So Im a pretty big fan of RL dunham as far as some guidance, I also like the Allen Edmonds Park Avenue.

allen is 330, and right now with the 25% off polo the RL are 380. A negligible difference in the grand scheme of things.

with that said, thoughts comparing the 2? other brands in the price range to look at as well? I checked rancourt & co who I think make both companies shoes, but I dont see any oxfords from them under their own label.

hit me with whatever you want to say :) Im gonna say <500, but it would need to be a significant jump for the extra money, not just spending to spend.

nope, Ive been researching, the one thing that bothers me about AE and Polo, is that they seem to both be outsourced... Dont know why, but that irks me on something so expensive...

Im thinking of just biting the bullet and going for a pair of shell aldens, atleast at that point I can be confident that in spite of the high price, I am getting what I paid for :/ I dont think I can go wrong with Aldens atleast.

going to hit up a store this weekend who sells edward green, alden, and AE down the way, and see what I see.

did you find out what's a good pair of shoes? I like the dunham but not sure if the cap is too small like that on the AE park ave and 5th ave.

The AE park avenues are outsourced? Where did you hear that?
