I have a question regarding ties, how are the quality of the following ties compared to each other as far as what you get for the price?

Giorgio Armani
Valentino
Cornelani
Salvatore Ferragamo
Bvalgari
Burberry
Canali
Mimi Fong
Louis Vuitton

It seems that with the exception of LV, all the others cost more than Giorgio Armani. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around as Armani Collectioni as far as shirts go costs more than the others and still less expensive than Giorgio Armani. Also, I was looking at the tie knots. Which one is supposed to be the most presentable and used? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

higher retail price don't always mean better quality. IMO, in the case of most of the ties you listed, they're all about the same medium range, the difference in price coming from that extra brand name hype.

tie knots are up to the shirt collar. i tend to do medium knots (half/full windsors) for wide spread collar shirts, since there is a large gap that i feel looks awkward if paired with a four in hand. with button downs and collars that are a bit more closed, i do a four in hand to mimick the amount of space in between the collar points.

if you use that SEARCH button instead of making new threads for all your questions, you'll find a lot more information on how to distinguish tie quality.
