I couldn't find an existing thread for this so excuse me if one exists. I received these ties as gifts. Now that I am starting to actually wear ties, I think I should throw some of these out. If you received these as gifts, which would you refuse to wear? Someone here already told me to burn tie H.

I'm not a big fan of A, B, and M, but the rest look fine to me.

Personally out of the bunch, the ones that I would actually wear are C, D, E, F, and G. The rest are not my style. But that's me :slayer:

I like D and will send you enough in postage to "burn" it to me.

+1, pretty much. I might give H and/or M a whirl, but I really dislike geometrics, so the others are out. And A and B just look kind of ugly unless the photos are really off

If you've got the room, just keep them because as time goes by, you'll notice that what is out now will come back into fashion. Geometrics look dated now but they were all the rage in the 90's.

I mean this with the greatest respect. Ties, for me, are an element of what I have to do for the day, the weather outside and my general mood. That being said, it is my belief, that the tie leads the eye to my face, which I want. Therefore I want a "pop" from my tie.

In this case I would either keep them all, or throw them all out. They all have the same feel to me, they are a tie, and most certainly work with the right suit/shirt combo. The great thing about ties, they take very little space

In agreement that C-F are the best of this bunch. That said, there is a sick and twisted part of me that likes B and M for their grossness. It's funny that they are B and M, becase together they are ugly enough to cause a real BM. There's something about ties that bad that makes me want to keep them. I admit to hi-jacking a couple of my Dad's old ties for this reason. :embar:
