As long as you are not in the USA you can order online from Turnbull in Asser. For some reason, US residents must call one of the stores directly. I order from the London store, as I 've found it has the best service and prices.

Don't worry too much about matching colors. Contrast is much better. You don't want to be too "matchy matchy". A tie like the one on the left would be one of the traditional safe choices. A burgundy one would look very good also. In England, men might go for this style in pink.

I agree--the houndstooth is a bit too busy. Speedster's selections are better. The grenadine texture is a great match for your outfit. As far as color goes, there are many options, depending on the image you want to project. Burgundy and Blue and many shades of red are more conservative, colors like Purple and Pink are stylish but give a wilder image.

Sam Sober Purple grenadine

And lastly, from a FNB post: The spot tie below combined with a bengal stripe shirt and a navy chalkstripe suit is classic "city of London" look. Just examine pictures of English politicians, royalty, bankers, and haberdashers and you'll see this type of tie very often.
