Tie selection with pink gingham shirt?

In an effort to expand from the white/blue/white and blue/blue and white shirt realm, Ive just ordered a couple gingham shirts, one in pink--

Any suggestions as to tie selection with a pink gingham shirt, with either a Navy suit, or a gray one?

i would echo the navy sentiment. in the right context brown sometimes goes well with pink.

What is a gingham shirt in pink? Can you post a picture?

If it is a solid pink then Midnight blue, maroon, or with a black suit a black tie.

+1, sounds great. Anything dark blue or purple would look great.

I like the Navy tie idea. Dark purple would be very bold as well.

Mint green would be a bit too...much I think. What do you guys think about a Navy tie with green stripes, dots, or some other pattern thrown in?
