An excellent example of why we need companies like Hober, because a tie of the correct length is vital in not looking like you have a silk penis.

If it were a fashion candid I would just think that he had the long rear blade tucked in but it had pulled out for the pic. Not sure what the provenance of the pic is so I'm willing to give the guy some benefit of the doubt.

Do you guys experience this problem much? Think it might be more of a problem for slightly shorter males. I'm 6"3 so my ties tend to get a little short.

It's good, though it should be tucked in I believe and think.

The Duck was so sprezzy that he tied his with the front blade too short just so he could have the rear blade extra long:

Are you serious? When I was a huge ball of fat I needed extra long ties to be able to make even a decent FIH. And I'm just 5'7"- I don't think regular tie length is meant for fat boys [IMG]

Thankfully not an issue for me at 6"2. I can get on board with a slight blade peek (maybe 1 inch) but the above is kind of ridiculous really.

This. Way too much of it going around as well. Funny thing is, in history, a lot of mistakes brought about great things!
