so this might sound a bit ridiculous to you guys, but I generally only wear a navy sc and gray trou, usually with a light blue shirt but occasionally a white shirt if it doesn't look too washed out. Anyway, most of the time I wear grey ties but I want to switch it up a bit. I own a lot of navy ties, and to my surprise a lot of them don't really work with the sportcoat because if they are a slightly different shade of blue it doesn't really look great. Anyway, can you guys try to help me pick out my next tie that would look best with this sc:

trou are usually dark charcoal if that matters... sorry the lighting in this pic isn't great and it's the only one I have...

here are the tie options... I am thinking I'll get the wine and I'd like to get the blue, as I think the color is close enough... but what do you guys think? If the wine is too stand-outish then I'll get the brown instead, and if the blue doesn't go well with blue then I'll get the purple as a substitute.
wine/purple

blue/brown

Another security guard uniform!

doesn't look uniform at all.

Since blazer and grays are the most formal of all odd-jacket outfits, I'd personally avoid knit ties. The silverish ties are a good choice. If you want to have some variety, what about trying something like this:

thanks!
