I am looking for a way to look extra sharp for my wedding, and I wanted to wear a tie bar with my suit. owuld that look good for the wedding, or something more traditional like suspenders?

If you want to look "extra sharp" for your wedding don't wear a suit, wear a tuxedo. No tie bar, since you should be wearing a tuxedo.

Suspenders are fine, but don't make them a strange or "wacky" colour.

dont wear an ill fitting suit. If you skip the tux (which is what im doing) make sure your suit is great and the fit is spot on. Looking sharp to me is more about less accessories and focusing on the fit.

Wrong. Morning suit. A tux is for after 6pm. Change for the reception by all means, but don't wear it during the day.

A tie bar would be acceptable, but if you're wearing a lounge suit then something like a handkerchief would probably look sharper.

I am wearing a light grey theory suit that fits me like a glove! Pocket square and silver tie. Really classic and sharp. Flirting with the tie bar extra touch idea.

Go right ahead. With the silver tie (good traditional choice), a silver tie bar might not work too well. Look for one with a black enamel front or something along those lines.

I'm thinking something like this, but in silver. Unfortunately, no idea where you would dig one of that particular design up.

Ignore the people advocating formalwear. That's your choice, and you can look quite sharp in the suit.
