Is a Ticket Pocket too flashy for a conservative work environment? There are many nice suits (RLPL) that I would probably buy if it were not for the fact that they have a ticket pocket, but perhaps i'm over thinking this.

I don't want to spend a lot of money for a suit that I don't end up wearing.

Seriously, I feel a certain amount of pity for anyone who thinks a ticket pocket is 'flashy'.

One of my work suits has a ticket pocket : in med-grey cloth - single breasted, two-button, slanted pockets, side vents and trousers have a single pleat.

If were to be very critical, then I would say the slanted pockets are the least conservative feature (not the ticket pocket). Bearing in mind, the classic Savile Row look (re: Poole & Gieves) is a three-peice suit with a ticket pocket.

I agree that hacking pockets definitely makes the suit look flashier, but not the ticket pocket itself. There is always going to be a classic house doing something "flashy". Look at Huntsman, look at Richard Anderson.

There is no reason why not.

Suits with ticket pockets are intolerable in business environment! Never buy one! Especially if you are 40r. They are already so hard to find!
