Ticket Pocket on a Patch Pocket Jacket?

I was just wondering what the general opinion was on this type of pocket styling for a sport coat? It's almost a ticket pocket, but more like a smaller patch inside the lower right patch. Also, any idea on what this is typically called? Picture related.

Is that your general opinion and can we quote you on that?

I would like it more if there were a series of five or six, getting smaller and smaller on the way up, like a matryoshka.

For SF members, maybe doing that at the breast pocket would make the most sense, since that would allow two pocket squares to be worn at once.

Ticket pockets on patch pocket sport coats were fairly common in the 1950s.

I am considering commissioning a navy patch pocket blazer with a ticket pocket. It will take me from my yacht, to the dock, to the train, and to the opera. What do you think about this idea?

I have a RTW RL unstructured linen jacket with the ticket and patch pockets. It's okay as a travel jacket because I generally need all the pockets I can muster when flying, but otherwise, I'm not a fan of it.

You were doing well until you said "opera." Ticket pockets were for "tickets" but no that type of ticket.
