Hello all.

The groom is 31 and we have no desire to pay for women so that's off the table.

There will be about 8 of us and the best man is trying to keep the budget at about $250 to $350 per person.

I was wondering if anyone has had/been part f a batch party around here of knows of any good places/ideas to look into.

I am relatively new to this and am not sure if there is any culture or traditions for these.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Your question is VERY vague.

A bachelor party in NY or on Long Island?
Where in NY? Where on LI?
Is this for 1 day/night?
Are you staying over for a wknd?
Are you looking for a club/lounge?
Are you looking for hotel/dinner/drinking suggestions?
Strip club suggestions?
Activities?
Etc.

Come on bro. Provide some info.

Why provide more info when strangers can do all the thinking for him?

Sorry for the vague nature if the OP. I was strapped for to me and just wanted to get the ball rolling. To break it down:

- A bachelor party in NY or on Long Island: it can be either. Anywhere from montauk to manhattan.

- Is this for 1 day/night? Are you staying over for a wknd? : it will be the weekend of this coming October 9th through the 11th.

- Are you looking for a club/lounge?: those are being mulled over. Suggestions always help.

- Are you looking for hotel/dinner/drinking suggestions?: yes.

- Strip club suggestions?: probably not but suggestions are appreciated. I don't think any of is are up for paying for it and the only time I have mildly enjoyed going to any is when I have brought my own girls..... Who you are apparently not allowed to touch when in the club.

- Activities?: yes, and one of the things I am most after. So far we have eyed skydiving on long islands east end.

Dining/Clubing: Tao. There are two locations. I've been to the one in downtown manhattan. You could have drinks, then dinner, then stay for the nightclub. Or just the first two. Very lively atmosphere.

If you can get in, try to go to The Box. You can get dinner, drinks, dancing and pretty wacky burlesque-type shows. There might be nudity but it's not a strip club - and any nudity will be tongue in cheek. It may be hard to get in without a reservation. So if you're interested get one. I cant speak for the food but it's a ton of fun and will be a memorable experience.
