Thread on tie weaves?

Sometime last year I saw a post from one of the resident experts on tie construction with pictures, etc. on how different weaves are actually stitched together. I've spent half an hour searching (both google AND SF's search tool) and give up. I'm hoping someone in The Hive has a bookmark/better search keyword than me, cause I'm really interested in finding that post again!
