I would like to make this outfit work, mainly the glen plaid blazer. Not adventurous enough to try burgundy pants, but I hoping midnight blue or plain blue, the former requires some hemming.

With color pants are better? Jeans are also an option. Also I'm thinking the blazer might need to be taken in just a bit, and perhaps the arms shortened but a bit?

Or if it's a hot mess tell me & save me from the embarrassment.

I'm afraid that that jacket just doesn't fir you very well. The arm scye seems angled incorrectily for you, and a bit short.

I would try with perhaps a more vibrant pant color. A lot of guys suffer from too much "visual interest". I feel that your outfit here could use considerably more.

    Cheers.

Now that you mention it I suppose it does look a little boring.

I'll try something else. Vibrant pants doesn't sound like me, but perhaps I can change the shirt. I'll repost when I come up with something.

    Thanks for your help.

Hm, your arms position looks really weird. Is this your natural posture or are you raising your arms up for some reason?

I don't think there's anything remotely natural when I know I'm taking a pic to post on the internet. I don't think I could get a normal pic unless I hired someone to follow me around.
