I've been looking around for a black cap toe among other things, I ran into the Nordstrom brand shoe, which looked quite nice for the $149 price. I especially like the shape of the last, just a little sleek. "Made in Italy" (good thing?), i think a welted leather sole. I'm still a little green in assessing a good shoe, but I think it looks like it's on the right track. It looks a hell of a lot better than everything else at $150 price range. Any thoughts on these? Imade in Italy, at that price its actually a bad thing. A shoe from china at that price would wield higher quality.

I would go for something like this over the Nordstrom shoe.

http://www.dsw.com/dsw_shoes/catalog...=161960&brand=

It's inexpensive and has a modern look to it.

I haven't seen it in person but it doesn't seem like the leather would be too special and I'm not sure on the sole durability. Either way I'd likely choose it over the Nordy shoe.

please wait for sales. their house shoe frequently goes on sale to down to $49.90. and at the nordstrom rack. that is not a good deal at 100+ dollars.
