So I'm currently in the market for a nice, messengeresque bag. I love shabby-looking bags, and am looking for one that will last me a long time and I don't have to treat like it was made from similar materials as Cinderella's mules.

Today I stumbled upon this fellow. I realize he's probably not top quality (sells for EUR139), but the feel was sturdy and I like the look. So my two issues are:

a) The brand is Cowboy's Bag, or Cowboy's Belt. I found their website, but it was hard to find any background info. It's Dutch so possibly unknown in the States as well, but any prior experience is welcome.

b) It may be too casual for its purposes. I'm starting as a tax attorney, and plan to carry it into the office and to client meetings. I have personally seen partners carry around more-worn bags than this into the office and get a compliment for them, but this may just be too much. Thoughts? Thanks!

BTW, you can find the online shop here, and the bag is listed under "Heren" --> "Accessoires"

Might look okay with jeans, but certainly too casual for much else.

Having a bag with character is different from having a tatty bag. The only way to do this without being a poser is to buy a proper bag and use it to death. Saddelback Leather (a forum sponsor) make great bags for this. They age amazingly and last for ever.

To my eye the bags look too casual for office use as a tax attorney.

Thanks a lot fellas, that really helps. I've been looking into Saddleback as well, but it might be a while before I get back to the US.
